I'm with you, I recall some hints and foreshadowing in previous episodes like the issue with the Aurichalcum ring she didn't want to return, I think there was a clue with the swimsuits and there were others too however what the exact ones were before that escape me at the moment.

I can't say I was full blown confident of her affections in the very first episode, so if you picked up on them there, then I give you my kudos, you saw something I didn't. Admittedly, It took me a few eps to recognize her interest in Takada.

I agree, I was thinking the same. I am surprised that Adachi asked akane for advice. I mean she is his Childhood friend so she should have know about the Tank Tops. But maybe she thought that after they grew apart his Likes and Dislikes might have changed, So it does kinda makes sense. I can't believe Kasahara would teach such degenerate information to the ball of purity and sunshine that is Takada! He did not need that information! Though it was amusing how he brought it up to Nishimura, she must have been so confused because Takada would never had said such a thing without Kasahara's influence.

I did like that we got to see him start to question his own feelings but at the same time, I do enjoy him not being aware of such topics and being the charmer that he is naturally.

Nice to see someone interested in Hino, he has sort of been an add-on to the main couple so seeing he will have his own story is appreciated. I thought tank tops would have been the obvious choice for a present but I guess it makes sense to give your childhood friend and crush something special.

Lol I like when Takada said Nishimura is more popular than Kasahara, he is right since she gets so much attention so it was nice to see Kasahara put down like that even though Takada no bad intent.

Kitagawa may indeed just plain be a cruel kid for the sake of it, but I have found that often times many people lash out or seem mean or cruel because they are hurting inside or suffering themselves.

From what we've seen so far it often seems like Kitagawa is insecure with himself and tries to make himself seem "better" and feel "bigger" by putting Nishimura down so as to have a way of keeping himself from being excluded.

I may be wrong as far as the context of the show, but IRL you'll often find such cases as the ones I've mentioned about are quite common.

The sad part is that Takada and the others are more than ready to welcome him with open arms, overlooking all his transgressions and starting fresh as friends any time he wants.

BUT he has dug himself into such a deep self-perceived hole, that he apparently doesn't feel like he can coexist with Nishimura due to his own pride, or lack of it.(If I had to guess a big stumbling block for him is that he's likely afraid to lose face and risk losing any "esteem" or "following" he may have by doing so.)

Don't get me wrong, I'm not condoning what he does and sometimes I feel like I'd enjoy seeing Takada give him a nice, swift, kick to the ash. However, IRL things are never so cut and dry even if we don't get to see that side of the aggressors we come in contact with.

So glad to so Nishimura starting to grow more confident due to Takadas constant support. This time she was even beginning to stand up for someone else! Such positive progress! It warms my heart! <3
